This happened to me about six years ago. I went to a doctor who referred me to a specialist. It turns out the lump was just some fat cells that gathered in an inconvenient place. They did a quick operation on me with local anesthetic. It was kind of tender for a few weeks, but everything turned out okay. I was freaking out because I was afraid it might have been some latent venereal disease that was just manifesting itself after a couple of years, from the time before I'd met my fiancée, but it turned out I was worried over nothing.
