This privacy policy is intended to inform you about the types of information gathered by Raw Confessions (“we” or “us”) when you use the Raw Confessions website, how we use and safeguard that information, and the degree to which you may control the maintenance and sharing of your information.

Raw Confessions is intended to provide our users with a forum to anonymously make public certain information they might otherwise keep private. Your safety and anonymity is as important to us as it is to you. We do our best to ensure all posts to Raw Confessions are and will remain anonymous and respectful of the privacy of others – indeed, our Terms of Service prohibit the posting of any information that included personally-indentifying information of any individual.

We reserve the right to review, remove, or revise all posts to Raw Confessions, including any post that we believe may risk indentifying the author or any third party. When you use Raw Confessions, we will not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you choose to provide that information to us. We have created Raw Confessions for users to post and view confessions anonymously. Our Terms of Service prohibit the posting to Raw Confessions of personally identifiable information, whether yours or that of any other individual, whether in the form of a confession or an avatar.

If you choose to register with Raw Confessions, we will ask you to create an account by entering your email address and selecting a password. No other information is required for registration. We use this information solely to provide you with registered access to Raw Confessions, and to provide you with email notifications as outlined below.

Log Files

We may automatically and through third-party tracking services (e.g., Google Analytics) gather certain non-personally identifiable information about your use of our websites and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and related data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, solely to improve the quality of our products and services. Out of respect for your privacy, we do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use both session ID cookies and tracking cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to use Raw Confessions. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We use tracking cookies to better understand how you use Raw Confessions, and to enhance your user experience. A tracking cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. Children Under 18

Use of Raw Confessions and creation of Raw Confessions accounts are expressly limited to users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 18 years of age.

Information Use and Disclosure

Notifications & Opt-Out

If you choose to register with Raw Confessions, we will send you a welcome email including information about Raw Confessions and your account. Unless you elect otherwise, we may periodically send you emails notifying you about new or upcoming Raw Confessions features, information about changing or updating your registration, changes to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and promotional materials and offers from our company as well as from our subsidiaries, marketing partners, advertisers and other third parties.Out of respect for your privacy, if you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt-out of receiving them by clicking here or following the opt-out procedures included in each email.

Disclosure

We understand how highly our users value their privacy and security. In the event Raw Confessions goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, any personally identifiable information we have on record will likely be among the assets transferred. The transferred personally identifiable information will remain subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy or any subsequent updated versions.

We may periodically update this policy, and will post a notice of such updates on the Raw Confessions website. If you are a registered user, we will attempt to notify you of material updates by sending a notice to an email address you have provided to us.
