My landlord hired a guy to paint our house. He wanted someone cheap, and that's exactly what he got... So far he has managed to break my favorite vase, which he replaced with a smaller, cheaper one that was made in China. Then he knocked over an old grandfather clock, breaking all the glass and some of the wooden frame, and didn't volunteer to pay for the damages, but would like to 'fix it' himself! What the heck is he smoking?! The latest disaster with this walking time bomb is he got paint all over a jacket, which was in a closet, where he wasn't supposed to be painting - and then didn't even tell me about it! I am incensed by the total lack of respect this guy has for my family and our things and the fact that I can't even fire him! I am praying the nightmare will end soon. I think he's coming out for one more day. Help...
