Mr. Richard P. Marashio Stan and Paul's 215 State Road North Dartmouth, MA 02747 I had a new refrigerator delivered from Stan & Paul's Appliance in North Dartmouth. Although due at 11:00 the delivery did not occur until past 3:00. When he showed up he stated that he was way behind schedule. The new refrigerator was measured against the exterior sliding glass door, and they proceeded to use a screw gun to remove the door stop for the sliding glass door on the porch. He then used the screw gun on the door handle to the slider. After using the screw gun on the handle, he asked his assistant for a larger bit. He used the larger bit on the handle. He then put the door stop back, and without removing the door handle, swung the door to the refrigerator open, so that it would pass through the sliding glass door. He never said a word about the handle or the door. They installed the refrigerator, and it was not until after they left that I saw that the sliding glass door handle had been damaged, the Phillips head bolt that held the door handle together had been completely stripped, there was nothing left to the head but a round hole where the Phillips head slot had once been. Additionally, the Phillips head bolt was partially backed out of the handle, so that the handle was loose and wobbly.I called Stan and Paul's the next morning, and spoke to Paul. He indicated he would be in touch and would come by to make the repair.Later I received a voice mail message, that they would be by the house in twenty minutes to repair the door handle. I was at work, so did not see this message until the end of my workday. I called back and left a message, indicating that I would be at home and available on Wednesday the 23 and Monday the 28th. On Tuesday I called at 10:30 and left a voicemail message. I called again at 11:30 and reached her. We discussed the logistics, and she indicated she would call me back as to when someone could come by to repair the door. I did not hear back, so called on Monday leaving a message. I called again on Tuesday, and Wednesday. None of my messages were returned. On Thursday I spoke with Paul at Stan and Paul's, pointing out that the two days off from work I had available to have him come by and repair the door had passed, and that they had not returned my phone calls. I heard nothing from Stan & Paul's so I called Paul again on Thursday . That phone call was never returned. I spoke with Richard P. Marashio on December 15th. At that time he indicated that he would work to repair the damage. A further phone conversation with Stan and Paul's, has resulted in no action, no follow up and no return call. Stan and Paul's have made no attempt to contact me since. The problem I have is that the screw head is damaged in such a way that it is not possible to repair on my own. The handle is loose and extended out from the door frame. Stan and Paul's have been completely uncooperative, and unprofessional in their conduct. They saw the damage they had done to my door, and said nothing. They then made no attempt to repair the damage, and simply choose to not answer my phone messages. In my letter with photographs to them I say 'Richard, I am very disappointed in how this has been handled. It is my hope that you will respond to this letter, and work towards a repair. As I stated, the damage is such that I cannot repair it myself. I request that you please respond.' There was no response Stan and Paul's 215 State Road North Dartmouth, MA 02747 Richard Marashio 508-994-6060
