Actually, there's A LOT of evidence that points to the existence of God, and the deity of Christ. Apologetics lays it all out there. Christ's resurrection is the biggest piece of evidence. All the learned atheists who try to disprove it either become Christians or come up with even crazier theories to explain it away. As for evolution, that may be the answer to "How?" Religious is just another system. It's a belief system. Evryone has them to a certain degree. Interestingly, many who do also suffer the ills of poverty as we see in our country and other places around the world. The wealthy leaders seem to have education which gives them access to resources and good standards of living. It's simply controlling the masses.
