I like the diplomatic approach also, it always helps and gets everyone on the right track. Dont just blow out, think and act accordingly. Parents will understand it, make them understand that you have friends and you have to hang out with them

just do it in a way that isn't vulgar and mean. Use tact and diplomacy. It's called healthy boundaries. Don't stoop down to their level, although it kinda sounds that you're headed that way based on your language.
