Sony DVD Recorder

I bought a Sony DVD recorder in October 2005 for £200 and after 3 months it stopped working completely. I took it back to Comet but they said I couldn't have my money beck, I had to have a recon unit. They said it would be delivered in a week. Sure enough a week later a van pulled up and the driver gave me a recon unit, not even in a box. Seven months later the recon unit packed up. The best of it is I bought a Goodmans DVD recorder for £100 to record my CCTV and that's been running for about 18 months now without a fault, so how do Sony get away with charging twice as much for an inferior product? I'll never buy Sony again.
