I remember being on one social site one day and reading about a group of kids bullying an 'emo' kid for posting how he was going to kill himself. It ended with one of the kids saying something along the lines of "Do everyone a favour and just jump off a bridge, no one will care" etc. The boy never commented back and I never heard from him again (he posted often). I wonder if he really did kill himself.

could you be referring to the same young man they talked about on the news, the Dr. Phil show, and almost every show that has aired about bullying since? If it is, I'm sorry to say, he was serious. He was looking for help and in return some idiot told him to kill himself because no one cared about him and that is just what he did. If I remember correctly, he hung himself in his bedroom closet with a belt tied to the closet door. His mother found him. People should watch what they say when speaking to others they do not know. I wonder how the person who told that kid to kill himself feels now.

He is either dead, or just pretending his dead. I wouldn't take any chances though...
