illegal fireworks

We live on a small acreage on the edge of town. The only legal fireworks in this state are sparklers, but last night our new neighbors let off such an arsenol of exploding fireworks (it went on for hours) that our horses were going crazy. We are lucky they didn't hurt themselves or try to run through the fence. I don't want to make enemies of new neighbors, but it would be nice if they would follow the law.
