Ifloors.com says it is one of the largest flooring companies on the Internet and that it prides itself on customer service. You just better hope you don't believe the second part. I purchased bamboo flooring from this company and had it installed in my home. It looked beautiful.....UNTIL it was walked on. It is a mess of scratches all over the entire surface of the floor and it is only 2 months old. The first scratches appeared the day after it was installed. I have contacted the company and been herded around to customer service and claims. First they wanted ME to pay for an inspector to come and assess the floor. I said no. Then they sent an inspector who determined (wrongly) that the damage to my floor was due to my dining room chairs scraping it. First of all, I have not used the dining room since the floor was installed, secondly, I have protective pads on the chair legs and thirdly, how could the dining room chairs explain the scratches all over the living room floor? I brought all of these questions and more to the attention of the IFLOORS.com people and they steadfastly refused to consider that the flooring is defective in any way and will NOT honor the warranty. To say that I am sick about this is an understatement. I paid almost $3000 for a floor that will not hold up to normal traffic. My dogs walk across it (they have clipped and filed nails) and it is scratched. The information given to me by IFLOORS.com includes * the floor should be walked on in bare or slippered feet * all floors will scratch * they value my business and this is my favorite: I CAN SAND AND REFINISH MY NEW FLOOR AT MY EXPENSE. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! IFLOORS.COM will take your money, but that's the end of the story for them.
