I started working about seven months ago, I am a single perant, and rely on tax credits. My problem is my rent and council tax keeps going up and down, this morning I had letter, with a court notice by my housing association saying if i dont pay £390 by the 9th of july I would be evicted, this was the first I knew if anything, I did some inquieres and found out the my housing benifit had not been paid, this was all to do with me being emergancy taxed. The letter was very upsetting and I did not understand what was happaning, the system is not fair I work 16h a week and have a 7y old daughter, and being on my own in this situation is scary, all this because they over paid me-please help me and tell where I can make a proper complaint to the goverment.
