Why I love you and why it sucks.

I love how excited you are about life. I love that you apologize for it. I love that you've read every book I've ever heard about. I love that you're passionate, and sometimes don't make sense. I love that you can open up to me. I love that you made the tragedies in your life strengths. I love the way you talk about wilderness, and that you compare it to our lives. I love that when I was upset, you knew exactly what to say to make me feel better. That I am myself with you, and you tell me it's enough. You support me fully and make me feel good about myself. I love you, Ben. And I would follow you anywhere if you asked. But I'm just your buddy. And even though it kind of sucks, you are worth it because you're the best person I have ever met. You show me what is good in the world and I'm glad to be a part of yours in any way I can.

Find a good moment, right after you both have accomplished something, like a hike up a mountain. Throw your arm around his back. Lean your head on his shoulder. Then turn in for a kiss. From that point go in strong the next thing you know it will be morning and you'll still be naked in his arms!

Ain't it sweet when you love someone and they like your company too. I'm sorry I may not be able to offer you the best of advices. I have been unlucky in love myself. Yes, there are instances when I felt the love bug, the lush high, the infatuation bite but it also came with low depressions when I get dumped. Yet, I'll still advice that you seek out your love and not delay to be with the one you love.

Girl, if you love him as you said, if you love him for exactly the things you have listed, if there is a chance that you will keep loving him for a long time, do not deprive yourself of pure happiness. Take the next step. I'm sure this guy loves you the same way to have made so great an impression on you. You know what sucks? Being buddies with someone you are crazy about. Whatever is holding you back, throw it aside and be with the one you love.
