My brother posted here last week, asking about whether or not he should confess to the authorities about his financial malfeasance. He always proclaimed innocence after his dad got arrested in a very high profile case a couple years ago, but it seems he may have been close to being implicated. My brother's name was Mark, and he asked if there would be any other choice, and you answered back that he should probably kill himself....Well, he did...yesterday in his apartment. He hung himself from a pipe in the ceiling and left his toddler all alone in his room waiting for someone to find him. So, you got what you wanted. Happy now? Say hi to my brother in hell.

I am really sorry about your brother .. I know what its like to loose someone to suicide. I hope everything is well for the toddler and you especially. To be honest though- i think listening to someone he didnt know about commiting suicide is quite stupid- no offense. Im really sorry for your loss though .

What we as humans need to do is practice being more understanding if only we could all be more of a true friend right from the beginning (when we first meet someone). I'm not saying be vulnerable, these days we have to be causation just not paranoid. Sometimes (more than you would ever know) people sometimes are just looking for, watching for and waiting on someone to share open arms and a real friendship what a shame that most people these days have lost or never had the ability to know TRUE friendship that is what it takes when you need someone to talk to for advice someone you can trust totally!!!! sorry for your loss

Hmmm. Name is Mark. Father implicated in high profile financial scam. Hanged himself from a pipe in the apartment with his toddler son there. Everything here refers to Mark Madoff. Exactly. Unless this is a coincidence of astronomical odds. So he was your brother? Oh except the last week part because Mark Madoff killed himself in December. WTF?

please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your brother. as for the person who told him to do this, all i can say is that sometimes people can be unspeakably cruel.
