wedding dress saga

I just recently got married, and had a few problems with my wedding dress. The shop i brought it from were falling over themselves to help me when i went in to have a look and they were so professional i also purchased my four bridesmaids gown out of there together with my tiara and veil. Everything was going well until i paid for the itesms, then the service was going downhill, the woman whose mum had owned the shop was rude, they made my life difficult as i work in London but appointments to check the dresses in could only be made in the week between silly times. Despite calling them on several occasions for the dresses to come in they did not contact me to advise they were in i just happened to ring and was starting to complain at the length of time it was taking for these dresses to arrives especially since the big day was appraoching and then by a miracle they were in. The lady who owned the shop was rude to my family and when contacting me at work was rude to my colleagues, at the time i was too busy to take in all in and thought i would not have to deal with her any more after the wedding at then on the wedding day i discovered they had given me the wrong hoop. When i went to pick my dress up, i did try a similar hoop on but over my trousers the woman said it would fit perfectly and i trusted them, All through my fittings i had a lovely hoop under my dress and for my final fitting it looked perfect. Hoever i was wrong, first the hoop was only a little elastic thing at the top so as soon as i put it on it was falling down, i was not too concerned at the time i just got some pins and held it together, then the dress went on and to my horror i was treading all over the front of the dress. After several attempts my hairdresser finally managed to pin it up so i was not treading over the front. During the course of the day i started treading on it again, the lave around it then got ripped, so another trip to the bedroom to sort it out. i sat down for the wedding breakfast, the hoop was falling down and i was sitting on it for the whole mead. Again another visit to the bedroom. Guess what, you've got it started dropping again, went back up to the bedroom, pinned up the fabric and cut away the lace so i could finally enjoy the end of the night, Despite this i did enjoy myself but when the hoop was taken back, unfortunatley not by myself as i had to go back to work, my mother-in-law complained but the woman in charge was not interested and insisted this is the hoop that i ordered, which i did not it was ordered by the shop and then turned her back on her. Seems pointless writing to the shop to complain and therefore i would advise anyone who lives in the Dartford area who is thinking of getting their gown from Jacquelines House of Brides that you double check everything or maybe think of going to another shop.
