waiting for a bed

I have power of attorney for a blind disabled lady who was admitted to hospital at 9pm in in the evening on Monday.She had to wait over 15hrs in casulty before she was given a bed, the lady is 83yrs old and this caused her a great deal of stress staying on a trolley all that time and they did not even offer her a meal
