Virginia Employer Extortion

A prominent travel service provider in Central VA, has routinely promised employees raises and production bonuses over the past several years. In some cases, a bonus production percentage was instituted and when production exceeded expectations, the program was revised and the bonuses were significantly reduced. This has created a tremendous morale problem within the company and quite a few employees have left or are actively interviewing. The family owners are completely in denial that they have done anything unethical or that any problems exist. They have simply traded on their employees' loyalty and virtually extorted the earned bonuses.
