Viking Oven

I bought a Viking stove. I paid $2700 for it. The first time I realized something was wrong with it was when I put a Stoffer's frozen Lasanga in the oven to cook. I took it out after an hour and it was sill frozen. I called the dealer, Idlers, from where I bought it. They came out and they and supposedly fixed the problem. I thought I was doing something wrong. It took me a long time and the service department coming out, to realize it was the foil. I put a pie in the oven on a small piece of foil and covered the top of the frozen pie. After an hour at 450 degrees I could take the pie out of the oven with my bare hands. No oven mitts or pot holders involved. I even had the manager from Idler's, where I bought the oven come out to my house and witness this miracle, as Viking told me it was humanly impossible. Another thing that happened to my oven, because the burners sit so high under the oven floor, it warps the oven floor and the finish pops off. I have extented warranty and have called Viking and have written Viking 3 letters. The last one certified and to the President of the company. A woman called and told me to have someone else look at it. I would have to pay for this, it wouldn't be covered under my extended warranty. I paid much more than a normal stove would cost and am not putting another penny in this stove. It is sad that such a supposedly wonderful product, does not stand behind their ovens.
