I got a great price on a ticket from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) to Baltimore, Maryland (BWI) through us.lastminute.com but had three BIG problems with the purchase. The first two involved links in the email that confirmed the ticket. The link to the e-ticket confirmation goes nowhere. The second link in the email brings you to a site that asks for the ticket id and my email address. The email came to my email address, so I know that it was correct. The email had the Ticket Id in it, so I know that that also was correct. But I tried for three consecutive days, inputting my Ticket ID and email address, but I was never able to sign in. So then tried the customer support phone number in the email. The phone number gets you to Travelocity, but they won't help you. Instead, they transfer you to lastminute.com, which hangs up on you after a long hold time. I WAS able to confirm directly with the airline thanks to having the ticket number from the email, though. Great price, great web-interface for pre-purchase BUT lousy post purchase web and phone support. I spent a long time worrying that the whole thing was bogus. But I've just checked-in at the US Air web site and printed my boarding pass so I'm (hopefully) okay. Whew! How can lastminute.com correctly interface with the airline, and not get anything else right?
