Truth About Herpes

All my life I have been told by adults to "Tell the truth" because lying was worse. So here's the truth. I am an 18 year old virgin and I will stay that way until I die. Why? Because when I was 14 years old I had my very first out break of herpes. I had never kissed anyone before, so I asked how I could have gotten it? I was so ashamed, I thought that I had done something wrong. About a year later, one of my other sisters broke out; the others eventually did too. We looked to our mother. She looked at us and said that she had no idea how we got it. She shrugged it off and said it wasn't her fault. Mom, you always told me that lying was a sin, so why are you lying now?

honey ..if you have it! and you have never had sex or kissed any one ...you have had to get it from your mom at birth! I'm sorry to say that to you...but it can be dormant for years!!! and that's really sad ...unless you were sexualy abused as a child and you just don't remember it...that is possible to...or have you put on any of your friends clothes? that also is a possibility to.

The same virus that causes chickenpox causes herpes and shingles, so you do need to do some research and talk to your health care provider about the issue. Maybe you had chickenpox when you were a child.

Because when in the womb the fetus isvaulnurable to any illness or disease, in this case it was herpes. A pregnant mother that has herpes will surely pass it to the child.

And why the hell is it your mothers fault? You should have been specific.

It's from the same virus that causes chickenpox. You don't have to kiss anyone to get it. You really need to do some research on this virus before you claim a lifetime of celibacy.
