Be Warned!! Paid cash for a motorcycle to a person listed as a contact on TRICKSTR'S website (let's call him XXXX). I could not obtain a receipt after asking repeatedly for one. I was told to phone the office to get one, as 'we only do cash sales from here'. After 2nd ride on the bike - had a catastrophic failure of the braking system (shattered!!). Firstly - no response to Emails. then told that there is no guarantee - despite there being a statutory requirement in terms of the Sale of Goods Act. Then told that I could not have bought the bike from them as I could not produce a receipt - that's right - the cheek of it!! Even Trading Standards are getting the run-around. Upon calling at their premises, XXXX identified himself as XXXX until the Trading Standards representative identified himself. Trading Standards required 4 trips to the website listed address of the company before they could track down anybody on site. Suddenly, he was told that he needed to speak to the other XXXX (yes!!). However, nobody could direct Trading Standards to this mysterious person XXXX. The saga continues. I also believe that they have short-changed eBAY as I came in touch with TRICKSTAR BIKES through eBAY. Since they claim that I have not bought from them, they clearly have not disclosed the sale to eBAY for their commission/fee! You have been warned - do not touch TRICKSTAR BIKES - you will get burnt!!
