My daughter booked her honeymoon with Airtours and as the only flight back they could get was 11pm at night, on her birthday, on the proviso that they could keep the room all that day at extra cost, they booked the holiday. They have now been told )2 weeks before) that the room is not available so they will have to be out by 10am and literally hang about all day and evening. They have only just received the itemised invoice yesterday when they went to complain and the only mention of the extra paymnt for this room is a minus £26 refund at the bottom of the invoice. The original £26 they paid for this room was just included in the toital payment and not itemised on the bill. They have been told that there are no other rooms available. They booked this holiday on good faith and paid up when requested. Does anyone know where they stand on this, bearing in mind that we havnt got much time to sort anything else out. First Choice say if they cancel they will lose a lot of money. Please help.
