The Pledge

I hate saying the Pledge of Allegiance and don't think it should be forced onto people, especially young children who don't know what they're memorizing. I'm a teacher, and at the school I used to work to, even the teachers were made to say it, to set an example. I didn't until about two months into my job, when the principal walked by and noticed I was looking through some papers, and he took me aside and told me that 'saying the pledge in this school is not an option.'
