This outfit offers a 'free' 30 day trial. If you decide you do not want it, just call the 800 number during the 30 days, and they will cancel you. No strings attached. Yet, when I tried phoning during the trial period, the hold times were in excess of 20 minutes. I tried waiting on hold at least 2 times a week for the first 3 weeks, and always still on hold 20 minutes later when my other line would start cutting in. Of course, I always hung up from the hold to take the other call. By the third week I waited one time for 40 minutes, with no response. About 2 days after the stupid 'free' trial ended, I actually waited over 1 hour to get a so called human. Only, this person turned out to be the rudest , most obnoxious individual I have ever dealt with on the phone. And this was after waiting over 1 hour to get through! I let this person know that I do NOT want to continue after the free offer, to cancel me; then I canceled the card I paid for the 'shipping' with, just so they would not try to take any money from me. Well, about 7 months later, they 'somehow' obtained my new account number, and are trying to take $299.82 from me.These people are NOT part of the U.S. Postal Service. They are an operation of forceful bullies, conning and scamming people with a FREE offer, then being unavailable to take the cancellation calls. Then they will force their useless product/service on you, even though you do not want it or need it, and have told them so. And, if you don't give them what they want, they will strong arm your money out of you, by fraudently obtaining your account information, and making unauthorized charges to it.I am so violated by this, that I am willing to post my email address for reponses from any one else who may have had similar results with this operation. Maybe we have a class action suit??? If you have had similar nightmare experiences with Stamps.com, please contact me: moriahtaylor@earthlink.net
