Speeders

I am so sick of people taking a short cut through my neighborhood instead of driving an extra 100 feet to a stop sign to get to the main road. They are speeding down my road and this puts our children/pets in danger. I want to complain to the counties to put up signs but I don't know how to get started writing letters or who to write them to because I just moved here (phenix city, alabama) and my road is on the county line of Russell county and Lee county. We need a speed limit sign, speed bumps, a sign that says caution that children are at play or SOMETHING!
