I did ok in my first year of uni with As and Bs, but one bad grade left me with a C grade[br]And this year I've only passed one assessment with a d5, the lowest pass I can get[br]The rest have been fails[br]I want to quit uni, it doesn't seem to matter how hard I work I always get bad grades but im worried my family will brand me a failure[br]My mum is so disappointed with my sister for dropping out of college, imagine how she'll be with me actually she expected me to do well. [br]But I feel like I'm losing all my friends, wasting my time and money and feel like I'm slipping back into my depression and I feel so alone atm

Take to your advisor. honestly school is the best choice for you. If your making As and Bs your not doing to bad. Don't let a couple bad grades get you down, you can always retake the classes and honestly you have to take some many classes in school anyway that a few bad grades won't hurt your GPA to bad.

I understand what you are going through. I did horrible last year and I've been trying to make up for it ever since. I was so close to just quitting, but I worked so hard to get into the school of my dreams and I wasn't about to let it go. Instead I talked to my adviser and one of my old professors that I really trusted. They suggested looking into something different so I switched my major and I'm extremely happy now. My advice is to not give up. Understand that you are not the only one who is going through this. Everyone goes into college expecting to get good grades but that's not always case. College is supposed to test you and be difficult. Don't let a few classes bring you down. And if it is something you really just lost fate in, look into other careers or maybe you just need a change of schools. I wish you the very best. :-)
