Should I give my marriage a second chance?

Several years ago I discovered that my husband was having an affair and his mistress was pregnant. He was full of remorse, ended the affair and insisted he didn't want a divorce. We went to work abroad but five years ago I returned to Chicago without him so that the children could finish school. They have now left home and because he has been a good husband and we were happy I have decided to rejoin him to give our marriage a last chance. My daughters, to whom I am very close, are disgusted with me for even considering going back. I have resigned and accepted a senior position abroad. My husband is still in contact with the other woman. I know this because I've been secretly checking his emails. He must provide financial support for the child but he doesn't say whether he will have any contact. I am struggling with my decision.
