my job

I'm trapped in a job I hate and am not trained for. I've been working for a large company for nearly five years and I was happy. That's until my boss made my job redundant and I was moved sideways. I'm now a manager and I'm finding it difficult. I have asked my boss if I can revoke the management part of my job but she is just ignoring me. I just want to walk away but I'm struggling to find another job. I know this appears to be a minor complaint but it's major to me.
