I like my brother’s ex-girlfriend a lot even when they were dating. We were friends, always going out together to parties and shopping together. We were so close that it made my brother mad sometimes. Even though, I’d give anything that’s mine to Susan, I couldn’t stand her dating my brother. She was a good girl and I didn’t think my brother deserved her. So, without their knowing, I drove a wedge in between them, sowing lies (well, for my brother, half truths) until the relationship dissolved. They haven’t talked ever since and they don’t know I drove them apart but do I regret doing it? Hell, no. She deserves better.
