Sears sucks

I bought a high efficiency washer/dryer set at Sears on May 23, it took a week to book delivery, and on July 15 my washer stopped spinning. The earliest repair appointment was July 24. The technician just left without fixing anything; he only determined the parts he needed to order, and that means five to seven more working days of WAITING. I thought the purpose of making a repair appointment was to have the item repaired. Talking to their customer service department was just as fruitless. Emergencies cannot be placed until the end of the day when the tech reports in! I'm seriously thinking about hauling the defective washer to their front door and dumping it there and just buying a new washer. I will never go into Sears again.
