sales crews

I'm going to add on to what a lot of people are not aware of....sales crews. They sell books, magazines, cleaning products, etc. I think they're all scams. Just recently I had two 16 year old kids from New Jersey visit my neighborhood in California claiming they were participating in a contest trying to earn points. They were representing a company by the name of Chapel Sales inc. The minute they left my house I knew something wasn't right.. I did buy a $50 story book from them which is supposed to arrive in the mail in 3-5 months but according to some research I've done on the net many people are not receiving anything. Now I'm not mad at the kids but at the people that are running these scams and obviously exploiting young kids to do the dirty work.. They are not in a contest....they are not getting scholorships...they're just door-to-door sales crews. If you encounter this type of activity in your neighborhood I suggest you have a serious heart-to-heart talk with your young salesperson and offer them the chance to call their parents and get them back home where they belong. It's the only right thing to do.
