Rebate Rebuked!

I purchased a cell phone last winter that included A $100 rebate. I followed the instructions that were requested and never received the rebate. When I called about my rebate, I was told that they never received my request. I said OK, I'll resubmitthe info. I was then told that the box was closed and there was nothing they could do. I could tell after going through a few operators that I was doomed. A few months later I submitted another rebate, however, this time I sent the info certified USPS. Low and behold, I received my rebate. The moral of the story is send in rebate info certified USPS so you have proof that it was received at the proper destination!
