Have a 2005 Dakota Truck complete with an original 36 month 36 thousand mile warranty. Truck has less than 18,000 miles and the Brake Rotors were defective and needed to be turned. The dealer also offers a 'Nine Lives Warranty' plan that is sopposed to minimize and elimate the little problems between purchase and end of warranty.Examples are:'Batteries for life-tires for life-wipers for life-etc.etc.etc.' I guess when I got the bill for turning the rotors around I was shocked that 'Brakes for life' wasn't on this list. So with a new vehicle with less than 18,000miles I had to pay for this when it is still under the manuafactures warranty and somewhere within the dealers warranty?? Mind you to maintain the the 'nine lives warrantly' one has to bring their vehicle in every 3000 for oil filter and change, misc. battery adjustments, tire rotations, drains and flushing on motors less than 20,000miles! and carberator tweeking? These charges add up to approximately $120-$220 every three months type thing!I guess their program should be changed to' Rip off the auto customer program'
