Public Guardian Nightmare

****************PLEASE READ****************** My mother has been the victim of elder abuse. The abuser took her home and all of her personal property that had any value. The abuser also stuck her in a facility, removed her rights to refuse medical treatment and medication, to vote, and to enter into any monetary transaction over $0.00. There was nothing to warrant an LPS Conservatorship. Not to mention, the abuser violated my mothers rights and her right to due process by not making any attempt to contact relatives. I have been fighting this for over six months by myself as I can't find any legal help for my mom. No one wants to take on a county agency!!!!Yes a county agency, specifically the Public Guardians office which is with the APS office. The Public Guardian (abuser) was terminated and the Chief Deputy Public Guardian resigned. Nobody cares about what has been done to my mom and she is only 64 years old. She is emotionally traumatized and is obviously very medicated. This is unbelievable that someone whom is employed by a county agency can literally abuse a senior citizen, embezzle, threaten, intimidate, isolate, and terrorize and not have to face severe penalties criminally and civilly. For anyone out there with elderly loved ones living alone, keep in constant contact with them. Make sure to have the proper legal papers filed with the court to protect your loved ones from obtaining an lps conservatorship.
