Hi all, This is a warning to anybody thinking of buying a property in Florida at Bimini Bay resort and Spa. The developer is a David Meadows. We unfortunately bought into this project 2 years ago, under the assumption it came with a guaranteed rental program. After many delays in David Meadows own mortgage company(Gracewood) trying to obtain our mortgage, they finally declared they could not do it. As a result we were then late on obtaining a mortgage in time to meet the contract. We were then sued for a huge amount of money and we still have no rent money coming in. This company is a sham and not to be trusted. Please be cautious if thinking of buying in Florida and I strongly advise you DO NOT TOUCH ANY PROJECT CONCERNED WITH DAVID MEADOWS. We have been informed that a number of people are now taking out lawsuites against this company for non payment of guaranteed rental money.
