I am a 26 year old man and I watch porn at least once a day. I am also married, but I keep it a secret from my wife and others. It kills me to think about what I am doing and I feel extremely guilty. Almost like I am cheating on my wife or something. I often think about how bad it would hurt her if she ever found out. I feel like a complete bastard. I just had to get it off my chest, I think this will be the first step towards stopping. Thanks.

Diddo dude, I am young and have an addiction and I feel like I'm cheating on my girlfriend. If you tell yourself that you are cheating when you watch porn, your love for your partner should stop you from watching it. That's what I do.

I think because it's a habit now. You know? Like I've just been doing it for so long. But I didn't watch any today. So I am proud of myself. First day in a long time that has been porn free.

Watching pornography is fine as long as it does not interfere with other aspects of your life or is done out of compulsion. Ask yourself why you view it? How many hours out of the day do you watch it? Do you feel you HAVE to watch it or just enjoy it? Other than concerns with what your wife might think does it interfere with your life in other ways? If so, why do you think you keep watching it? Perhaps you could talk to your wife and incorporate pornography into your sex lives in a healthy manner?
