How should one react to an adult son and his girlfriend's 'conditional love' behavior when after giving him a ride to work can no longer because car problems? Everything was fine as long as I was getting up a 7:15 am and driving him,but now the car,which belongs to my boyfriend,has been running hot and needs mechanical work done. They are both taking it so personal that they are mad at me as if it were my fault.If a car is acting up you dont continue to drive it you have it repaired. If you can't afford to you let it set until you can. I suppose some folks would force it and run it in the ground until it can no longer be repaired but not us.My boyfriend uses this car for a full time pizza delivery car, that's another story to complain @ in itself........
