Jehovah Witnesess

I'm sick of jehovah witnesses knocking on my door and preaching to me about the world and how jehovah forsees what the future is going to hold for us. I'm not really that religous but was brought up a christian. I don't want to be a jehovah but a lady that my mum knows has converted to jehovah and it's almost like she's been brainwashed. My mum is at the end of her tether with her, as she keeps coming round to the house or stopping her in the street and my mum has said straight to her that she doesn't want to be a jehovah, and that she doesn't want to ruin their friendship, and doesn't want to be forced into doing something that she doesn't want/believe in. My mum is currently away at the moment so I had to listen to her babble on about it when she came round one day, and she made me so mad, she didn't let me speak and when she had gone I threw the information that she had given me in the bin. Why do they do this. I really feel like going to kingdom hall and telling them all straight, that the people whi aren't jehovah's obviously don't want to be for a reason, but to stop pestering us to follow them. I went out with someone who was a jehovah back in high schoool and he never once tried to preach to me about being a jehovah. But I am glad that I didn't end up staying with him as we probably would of ended up getting quite serious and wanting to get married and then it sparks up a whole new argumentHis family was lovely but they never once tried to preach to me either it just seems to be the ones that come to your door. I think I'm going to now put a sign on the door saying no jehovah's
