MY HUSBAND HAS A 2005 ELECTRA GLIDE WITH 5000 MILES ON IT HE HAD TAKEN IT TO OCEAN CTY HARLEY AND INFORMED THEM THAT THE ENGINE WAS MAKING NOISE. AFTER SAYING THEY HEARD NOTHING THEY SENT HIM ON HIS WAY DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. ONE MONTH LATER THE MOTORCYCLE WAS BACK IN WITH LOUDER ENGINE NOISES. FINALLY AFTER ARGUING WITH DON THE SERVICE MANAGER HE CONCLUDED THERE WAS A ENGINE PROBLEM. WOW A ROCKET SCIENTIST. NOW HE SAYS HE WILL REPLACE 1 HEAD NOT BOTH THATS ALL HARLEY WILL LET HIM DO. WHY NOT BOTH HEADS?AFTER ARGUING WITH OCEAN CTY HARLEY AND HARLEY DAVIDSON CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY BOTH SAID IT IS UP TO THE OTHER WHETHER OR NOT TO REPLACE THE WHOLE ENGINE. MY HUSBANDS REACTION WAS I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW HARLEY AND YOU ARE ONLY REPLACING THE ONE HEAD. GO FIGURE. THEY SAID THE HEAD WILL BE UNDER WARRANTY FOR 90 DAYS AND WE COULD ALSO BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR A 1000 DOLLARS.THIS IS THE KIND OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION THAT HARLEY GIVES.HARLEY DAVIDSON SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES.
