My bill has gone from its usual amount of £48.00 to £80.50 , I have called as I have noted that I have paid twice for the Internet only to be told tuff and was laughed at, in addition I was told that it was my fault that my bills were more as I had added family pack and the sports package. I advised that when I had added the sports package , I was told that to have the family pack together it was an extra £2.oo on top of the sports package. He then said well you have always had the family pack, I said that no I had not as I cancelled this in January, I looked through my notes and saw that I had called and spoken to Marc mcliesh in the Manchester office who cancelled this on the 19th of January 2005 , I then called again to make sure this had been done and that my number had been ported over on the 23rd January 2005. I then called again and spoke to martin Howe who agreed this had not been done as it should have and that they would refund me £36.72 on the 8th of march 2005. I find it hard to believe that none of these conversations along with the refund have been recorded as advised by Justin. I asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager and both of these were denied , I was told that they have no record of my calls and that there was no one at all other than the person I was speaking to that I could talk to the only other way was for me to put the phone down and call again and speak to someone else. When I took out my ntl contract it was 3 for £30.00 which would make the bill £31.99 a month , this is why I changed from sky to ntl , when I called to add the sky sports , it was not mentioned that I was not going to be still within the terms and conditions of my rental agreement and that this would affect the rate at which I am charged, I was also not advised that the family pack was on there already, I was merley advised that for an extra £2.00 per month I could have it.
