Not so nice sister in laws

My husband and I recently decided to have the inside of our house professionally remodled. When the day came for us to pack up and leave the house, I made sure that I took my "Toy Chest" in fear that the remodeling guys would find it. My husband and I decided to stay at his parents house until it was time to go back home. In fear that my new in-laws would find our secret toys, I hid my giant orange toy chest underneath some clothes in a closet that was in our room. A few days later I was in the kitchen drinking coffee with my mother in law when we noticed that my sister in laws, her children, along with my two children were screaming and laughing. (keep in mind that they all range from the ages of 2 to 7). We both looked at each other and continued our convo. Shortly after, I heard the kids running down the hall, and was totally mortified when I saw my sister in law swinging my two foot long, flesh colored toy if you know what I mean, over her head. She ran to my mother in law asking what it was. I was in total shock and couldn't say anything. In fear that the kids would find any other toys, my mother in law quickly went to the room and discovered my toy chest! Among the many toys, she also found all my Cosmo mags that are bookmarked at the Love&Lust sections. I was so embarrassed that when my hubby came home from work, we rented a motel room and stayed there until our house was done!

Next time consider renting a storage space for those personal thingies.

your MIL needs to get over it. you are an adult and if you and your husband want to play with toys then go for it. They should have respected your privacy.

really sad to hear, this is why you have to do everything on your own, if needed rent a motel, but do not move to relatives. Its kinda privacy issue also
