I purchased a Nikon camera from Boolchands Kohinoor in St Maarten last November 11 2005. at a cost of $699.00 paid for on my Amex card The camera was represented by Boolchands to have a Nikon 1 year international warranty. I have a technical problem with the camera and returned it to Nikon Canada that informed me that there is no such international warranty available. Since October I have been trying to reach Boolchands to ask for assistance, finally after many phone calls was able to get through to them and they confirmed the international warranty but are generally not interested in helping with Nikon leaving me with an inoperable camera that both the manufacturer or the vendor wishes to get involved with.
