I have recently moved here from Georgia and the state of Maryland is charging me a ridiculous amount of money to register my mini van, which I purchased in Georgia. The state inspection, vehicle weight and fee for late insurance payments are not a part of owning a vehicle in Georgia. The cost to repair my vehicle is $900.00, maryland state taxes are $340.00, and tags are $180.00. I do not have this kind of money to register my vehicle and I need to drive my car to work.
