Mohawk carpet

Have new Mohawk carpet less that 1 year old with matting and soiling in traffic areas that will not come clean. Mohawk has come out and said that it is normal for the time we have had it. We are two professionals with no pets or children. Lowes has become involved(where carpet was purchased)..They have pretty much left us high and dry at this point as well. I am very disppointed as I have spent almost 7000.00 on a whole house of carpet that looks like it 15 years old...My old Dupont Stainmaster 'builder grade' was 14 years old and looked better than my current Mohawk that is 1 year old...don't buy Mohawk and don't buy from Lowes.!!
