Missing my Hometown

In my hometown and the surrounding area, when you ask someone where they are from, the will automatically say “Exit ___” or “I live off of Exit ___”, everyone does it, even before a town name, or a neighborhood. Living away from home, realizing that some of those people I will never see again, and that I’ll never live there again, sort of breaks my heart. I don’t have facebook, so… idk… it’s hard.
