MFI - OCCASIONAL USE FURNITURE

My boyfriend and I purchase in all GOOD FAITH a glass dining room table and 4 chairs from MFI. The chairs were contempary chrm legs and black leather. However 6 months after at a dinner party with some friends the legs on one chair opened up whilst our friend was sat on it ( basically looked like a baby jaraffes legs!) although we laughed 2 weeks later a size 8 girl also had the same experience. MFI's response - they are for occasional use!!!!! so a dining room table and chairs hense the name for dining is occasional. In MFI's world we only eat occasionally!!!!
