metlife dental plan sucks

on 6-26-06 i went to the dentist because i had a huge hole on the inside of a 3 part bridge tooth and it was hurting. my dentist (at castle dental) recommended that i get the bridge replaced because it was deteriorating and my tooth was too far gone to fix. since the bridge was holding up a false tooth that was filling up a missing tooth space, the dentist said i needed to get the two teeth of the bridge replaced so that they could adequately support the one tooth that was false. so the dentist said that since the bridge was over 10 years old it would be covered by my insurance. Well, castle dental did not file the papers correctly a couple of times and i though that the last time all the papers were in and metlife would finally pay, and now they are saying that my bridge is not covered, and that the build up of one of the supporting teeth was not covered. Well the tooth was practically gone under the bridge and had to be built up in order to get the bridge to work correctly. This has dragged on now for months ( it is november 2006 now ) and now metlife says i have to pay for the entire dental work amounting to 1,800 dollars. I really think metlife's practices should be looked into. I was not trying to get a cosmetic bridge on front teeth...this was for side back teeth that i need to chew with.
