Me and my boyfriend discussed getting married many times over the years but he's never popped the question. Last night I wrote him a note and it went something like this. Would you marry me? Tick the box Yes or No. It also stated No if's and's or but's about it, just tick one of the boxes. It's near 6am and he just kissed me before he left for work. I immediately ran to the kitchen and he ticked the box Yes but wrote beside it, with conditions. What does that mean? Should conditions be placed upon a marriage?

Use this as a springboard to better communication with your 'fiance'. Absolutely no substitute for truthful dialogue. 'What does that mean?' ASK HIM. 'Should conditions be placed upon a marriage?' The REAL question here is what are the conditions and do YOU find them acceptable? If it's a prenuptual, yes.
