On October 14th my living room set from Marlos was delivered which included, one sofa and love seat, coffee table, and end table; I was supposed to have received two end tables. However, the glass for the second end table was delivered but the base to support the glass was missing! The guys had a heck of a time getting my sofa through the door. They were going to leave without assembling the tables. I ended up tipping them to put the tables together. I walked them out of the building and when I came back I noticed a circular tear on the arm of the sofa! I assembled my throw pillows on the sofa and loveseat and noticed that pillows were missing! My loveseat is supposed to have two large pillow and two small side pillows (according to the Marlos'floor display; my sofa is missing two side pillows--a total of five pillows is missing. So, my dispute is over the rip in the sofa, the missing table base for my end table, and the missing pillows to my sofa. I have been calling non-stop since October 14 to get this matter taken care of. I have spoken to at least seven customer service 'reps' and I have to tell you they are rude and inept at their jobs. Whenever I have asked to speak to a supervisor or someone in upper management I have been told: 'We are not allowed to give out that type of information; we don't give their names or extension numbers.' When I stumbled upon this information by pressing various buttons I finally got the name of a person by the name of Marie Blue, a customer rep told me she was indeed a person in management. I left a message on Ms. Blue's voicemail but she has yet to respond. Finally, I was told that the base to my table would be delivered 10/29. I called a few days later to confirm the delivery date and I was told, 'Oh, that's been rescheduled to 11/4!' I was livid! Nobody had bothered to tell me that my base would not be delivered for an additional week. When I inquired about my sofa pillows I learned the quantity was incorrect and that it would probably some time in December before I received them! Mind you I had my furniture delivered October 14. On October 28 a technician by the name of Tyrone came to look at my sofa. He told me I should negotiate and get Marlos to reduce the price. I said, 'Absolutely not! I want a new sofa! It is non-negotiable.' I will never ever get furniture from Marlos. They are so very incompetent. To date I have yet to receive my missing merchandise... This has been a nightmare!!!
