My dead husband's exwife was paid off on a judgement that was awarded to her during their divorce eight years ago. The monthly payment was set up to come out of my checking account. After I paid her off in one lump sum she continued to have the monthly payment taken out of my account. I had to close my checking account and will now have to take her to court to get my money back that she took. She is a very religous person but obviously forgot the 'Thou shall not steal' commandment. She did the same thing to me after my husband died with the child support. I had to get a lawyer to go after her for that one too.
