Months and months ago I stopped getting bills in the mail for my long distance service, PowerNet Global. But instead, I started receiving disconnect notices. I made several phone calls and sent a couple of emails complaining that I have not received bills. Nobody did anything about it except to continue sending me disconnect notices. I finally got someone to send me a bill which I promptly paid but MY SERVICE WAS DISCONNECTED ANYWAY! Now I'm told it will take 48 hours to restore service. I just got home from taking care of my mother out of state and I need to call her to see how she is but I can't because POWERNET GLOBAL DISCONNECTED MY SERVICE!!
